Several years ago, he found himself in some pretty hot water when the taxman came knocking on the door one of his many mansions. He found out that he owed more than $6 million in unpaid taxes. The Oscar-winning actor blamed his business manager, Samuel J. Levin, and filed a $20 million lawsuit, alleging that Levin had been reckless with his money. 7. Lots Of Luxury Vehicles

He owned nine Rolls Royce cars, as well as an assortment of other vehicles, including Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Bentleys. At one point, he was reportedly buying one luxury vehicle a month and had even employed a full-time mechanic to service them.

6. A Small Collection Of Castles

The “Leaving Las Vegas” star bought (and later sold) the medieval castle of Schloss Neidstein in the Oberpfalz region in Germany. He also bought Midford Castle in Somerset, England. He never spent a night there, but he spent lots of money renovating it to his liking. He later sold it.

He has a thing for exotic animals. According to one source, in one of his homes he has a handful of purebred dogs, rare birds and lizards. He also has two albino King Cobras, as well as “an antidote serum on the wall, so that if you got bit by a snake you could save yourself.”
