I have always felt that supporting artists is incredibly important. As a musician, I am especially a fan of supporting the musicians that I respect. The problem is that there are an infinite amount of musicians with great music to support. How do you decide who to support? Well, if you're green-minded, there are some musicians out there who truly put there money toward good for the planet. If you're torn about who to support, choose an artist from this list if you're a fan (or even if you're not a fan!):

[url='http://www.treehugger.com/files/2005/07/mixmaster_moby.php']MOBY. He's a vegan with a vegetarian cafe; in New York City, Teany. Not only that, but he has actually cut down his touring solely to reduce his own harmful impact on the environment.

BONNIE RAITT. She's a true classic when it comes to music, but she cares about more than the blues. She helped to found the Musicians United For Safe Energy group and she started the Green Highway eco-village that, amongst other things, provided her fans with digital versions of her music.

CROW. She did a Stop Global Warming College tour and it doesn't stop there. She has been very vocal, across the board, about her beliefs and the green associations she supports.

KT TUNSTALL. Ever wonder how much pollution those huge tour buses let out? Well, KT Tunstall doesn't figure it's worth finding out. She doesn't have one. W00t for her!

THOM YORKE. As if being the frontman of Radiohead isn't a job in itself, Thom Yorke has also been an active part of the Big Ask Campaign and he says that his album, The Eraser, was inspired by the global warming crisis
