If you're a freestyle artist, graphic designer, photographer or any other creator of cool visual stuff with a green axe to grind, listen up.

[ur="http://www.designboom.com/eng/"]Designboom[/url], DA Design Association Japan and a Japanese department store called TOBU have announced a very cool international design contest that could win you some extra cash. The theme of the competition is "green earth" with a holiday slant. Per the website:

- green: Create a graphic artwork that illustrates the environmental protection and how human beings and nature could coexist in a greener world.

- earth: Give the gift of a greener world at Christmas. Create a graphic artwork that will make this festive time of the year a moment to consider what we can do to help our planet's survival. You can use iconic Christmas motifs in your design for example reindeer, trees, etc.

Check out last year's wide array of winning designs to see what they're talking about.
